OpenAI publishes math results from an internal frontier modelOpenAI released 722 manuscripts organized into 372 research families in a public GitHub repository, produced by an internal frontier model that attempted roughly 4,000 problems, Interesting Engineering reported Tuesday. Each accepted result used about three hours of equivalent ChatGPT Pro computing time on average, and many proofs were formalized in the Lean programming language, according to the report.
Anthropic expands its Cyber Verification Program to three tiersAnthropic announced Tuesday that its Cyber Verification Program now has Defense Access, Red Team Access and Specialized Access tiers, with Specialized Access reviewed in collaboration with the U.S. government. Anthropic said partners in Project Glasswing uncovered at least 129,000 verified software vulnerabilities between April and July 2026.
South Korea plans $3.5 billion frontier AI model programSouth Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT will launch a 4.7 trillion won ($3.5 billion) program to develop a frontier AI model starting in March 2027, Reuters reported Tuesday. The ministry will hold a competitive tender after parliament approves the 2027 budget in December, according to the report.

Discovery shareholders received $31.01666668 per share in cash, according to the release. "Today is a historic day, not just for Skydance but for our entire industry," Chairman and CEO David Ellison said.

Zillow: newly pending home sales fell 8.5% in SeptemberNewly pending sales fell 8.5% from a year earlier in September, the typical home value was $366,913, up 1%, and inventory was 1.39 million homes, up 2.5%, Zillow said in its September market report released Tuesday. Typical rent reached $1,932, up 2.7%, according to the report.
