Turn any edition into a two-host audio overview with Google NotebookLM (free with a Google account).

Steps

Open notebooklm.google.com and create a new notebook.
Add the edition as a source: upload or paste its text file below, or add its web page link as a Website source. You can also add the news articles the edition links to.
In the Studio panel, choose Audio Overview, open Customize, pick the Deep Dive format and Long length, and paste the instructions below.
Generate, then play or download the audio.

Podcast instructions

Make a two-host news podcast. Use the briefing as the run of show and cover every section in order: AI, financial, real estate, Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Pullman and Moscow, US politics, global risks, catastrophic events, and end on the good news. The linked news articles are background. Credit reporting naturally, like "Reuters reports" or "the mayor said", but don't keep saying the information comes from the document or the sources. You may bring in the reporters' explanation of why something happened and what it could mean, saying which outlet, reporter or expert said it. Keep it balanced: when a cause or impact is debated, give the main sides fairly. The hosts don't give their own opinions, take sides, or make predictions. Keep names, numbers and quotes exact.
